This week we’ll be covering Incident [Accident] Investigation, Reporting and Recordkeeping. While only reporting incidents is “required” by OSHA, when incidents happen, the first step to prevent reoccurrence is to investigate the facts and background information around the incident. OSHA does however have strict requirements on reporting incidents and on recordkeeping, which is how employers document incidents, which they then report to OSHA, all of which will be covered in this week’s module.
