A workplace Emergency Action Plan should always be reviewed at least annually to determine if any circumstances in the workplace have changed that need to be addressed in the Emergency Action Plan via revisions to existing plans, removal of outdated plans and/or inclusion of new plans.
This assignment draws from all of the learning materials in Week 4
Locate an article, tip sheet, fact sheet, news release or case study on the internet about improvements that have been or can be made to Emergency Action Plans. Record a 4–5-minute video describing the improvement and why it is important. Mention in the video from where you retrieved the improvement.
The tool to accomplish this video recording is called Screencast-o-matic and is quite easy to use!
If you find you are having difficulty, there are tutorials available to support you. Once you’re finished, you can use this tool to upload your presentation directly to one of the following services: YouTube, Google Drive, or Drop Box. Submit the link to the presentation.
Note that your account with the college is also a Google account so you will be able to login to YouTube and Google Drive with that. If using YouTube, consider making your video privacy “unlisted,” which means your video will only be accessible by those you share the link with. Please contact your professor if you require accommodations in order to complete this presentation.
