      • This chapter covers effective methods for being prepared to address emergencies and disasters that affect the workplace.
    • Chapter 19 “Fire Hazard and Life Safety” p. 413-435
      • This chapter covers hazards associated with fire. This chapter also covers life safety procedures.
    • Chapter 24 “Bloodborne Pathogens and Bacterial Hazards in the Workplace” p. 538-556
      • This chapter covers hazards associated with exposure to blood and other bodily fluids.
  • NFPA 101 Fact Sheet
    • This fact sheet describes the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) Life Safety Standard which is directly related to the OSHA regulation for Emergency Action Plans
  • FEMA Ready Business Website
    • This website is the Federal Emergency Management  (FEMA) “Ready Business” website which has resources that employers can use to develop or improve their workplace Emergency Action Plans.
